Course Objective:

This is a course designed for introducing non-financial executives the overview of effective internal control for mitigating risks.  It emphasizes the importance of effective internal control and everyone’s important role in implementing effective internal controls in daily business.

  • The impact of fraudulent cases on statutory

  • Identify Business risk

  • Internal control framework for mitigating risk

  • Fraudulent cases and common errors

  • The roles and responsibilities of finance & non-finance staff in managing risks

Mini-lectures, case studies, group discussion, and experience sharing

Certificate:

Participants who successfully complete this course and have 80% attendance will be issued a Certificate of Attendance

Ms Chow is a fellow accountant of HKICPA and ACCA.  She has been active in providing public and tailor-made training services to multinational companies and listed companies in Hong Kong, Greater China and Asia Pacific for over 20 years. She specializes in training on Finance for Non-Finance Executives, Financial Analysis and management development integrated with Applied Psychology.  She obtained BBA (major in Accounting) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.  She has also obtained MSc in Training and Human Resources Management from the University of Leicester.
